I'm Dale Trumbore, a composer and writer based in Southern California. My last name rhymes with "drum" and "door."

These are my most bestselling choral works, and this is my newest piece for wind ensemble. One of my favorite recent projects was She Only Remembers, a ballet and album for solo piano about memory loss and forgetting.

I often write about working through creative challenges. My book Staying Composed: Overcoming Anxiety and Self-Doubt Within a Creative Life has been called "a treasure trove of practical strategies for moving your artistic career forward" and is also available as an audiobook.
